The upcoming season of the popular web series 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' will be directed by a talented team of women.
Charlotte Brandstrom, Sanaa Hamri, and Louise Hooper have been selected to direct the series. Brandstrom has directed two episodes of season 1 of the web series, while Hamri and Hooper are newcomers to the franchise.
In addition to directing four episodes of season 2, Brandstrom will also be serving as the series' co-executive producer.
The Swedish-French film director has assumed the role of lead director, succeeding British filmmaker Wayne Che Yip. Yip directed four episodes, including the finale, in season 1 and also served as co-executive producer.
Hamri and Hooper have been assigned to direct two episodes each.
Recently, the creators of the series shared the exciting news that eight talented actors have joined the show's already impressive cast. These new additions include Gavi Singh Chera, William Chubb, Oliver Alvin-Wilson, Stuart Bowman, Kevin Eldon, Will Keen, Selina Lo, and Calam Lynch.
