It appears that NAM1 is facing some legal challenges as the Attorney General has recently filed 39 new charges against him.

The Attorney General's Department has recently filed new charges against Nana Appiah Mensah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the now-closed gold dealership firm Menzgold Ghana Limited, who is commonly referred to as NAM1.

The Accra High Court received the new charges, totaling 39 counts, on Wednesday, August 30.

In addition to NAM1 and Menzgold, his other inactive firm, Brew Marketing Consult, was also included in the lawsuit.

The defendants have been accused of the offence of defrauding by false pretence, as stated in Section 131(1) of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).
