Mr. Francis Kofi Okesu, the MCE for Krachi East in the Oti, was found dead in a Kumasi hotel room. He was the MCE for Krachi East in the Oti.

Kumasi's LUV FM said in a report that the late MCE and his driver, Sylvester Attah, had checked into the hotel late on September 2nd.

The two were supposed to go to Dambai on September 4, 2022, but no matter what they did, they couldn't find him.

The manager of the hotel in Kumasi filed a formal complaint with the police.

The police went to the hotel and then broke into his room, where they found Mr. Okesu dead.

On Sunday, the police found his body lying face down in bed, naked, with his left arm hanging off the side of the bed.

Health professionals carefully looked over the body and found no signs of violence, but they did find spermatozoa on his thigh.

Officials say that the drops of spermatozoa show that he may have had a sexual act before he died.

The body has been taken to the mortuary at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital to be kept and examined.
