Governor Perry star of Yellowstone season 5 causes a frenzy with a "killer" sneak peek.

Wendy Moniz, who is best known to Paramount viewers as Governor Lynelle Perry on the Western drama YELLOWSTONE, has excited fans of the show with an early peek at the upcoming fifth season.

In Yellowstone's fifth season, Governor Lynelle Perry (Wendy Moniz) is set to enter the fray in a brand-new way. In addition to endorsing John Dutton (Kevin Costner) in the next election for governor, Moniz has been promoted to a series regular for the first time, guaranteeing the star plenty of more screen time.

Fans of Yellowstone who support their on-again, off-again romance between her and John will also be thrilled to learn that Moniz has released a few sneak peaks from season five's filming.

Moniz is now shooting the eagerly awaited fifth run in Montana alongside actors including Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Wes Bentley, Kevin Costner, and Luke Grimes.

Moniz is now shooting the eagerly awaited fifth run in Montana alongside actors including Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Wes Bentley, Kevin Costner, and Luke Grimes.

Moniz posted a series of images from the stunning region to Instagram, starting with a picture of a horse grazing in front of the well-known Yellowstone Ranch.

The second image showed the set's tents enjoying the Montana sunshine as the majestic mountains in the distance protruded.

After sharing several breathtaking images of the horses and the sunset, Moniz wrapped up her post with a selfie taken in her dressing room.

Moniz commented the collage with her appreciation for the part and a peek for season five's plot, adding to the season five tease.

She opened her message to her 21.1k followers by saying, "It is a gift to work doing what I love, and specifically working on this show."

It's a gift to be in and around beautiful nature, she continued.

Being surrounded by such a skilled cast and diligent crew is a gift.

She said, implying that possibly a deadly fifth run would be next, "It is a privilege to be a part of this killer storytelling.

"This is a thanksgiving post," Moniz concluded.

"Please take in the vista," was followed by a heart-shaped emoji.

It goes without saying that it didn't take long for admirers, including some well-known names, to express their own enthusiasm and gratitude for the sneak glimpse.

Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton, simply responded to her co-sweet star's sentiments with a love heart emoji.

Chelsea Handler, a comedian, added her two cents: "You're the kindest and most gratitudinal!"

This was also echoed by Yellowstone fans, with @jen86pepp adding, "You deserve it Wendy! I'm really thrilled for you.

Making this event and doing such a fantastic job, as @amandarosen1 said, "is a gift for me." "Thank you, then."

Because of the incredible storyteller and the gift he has given to all of us through a wonderful cast and because it is so gorgeous there, I hope I get to visit Yellowstone, Dutton Ranch, and Paradise Valley at some point. (sic)

Moniz remained mum about particular spoilers from the fifth season's plot, but it's clear that she'll play a bigger role than ever.

On November 13, Yellowstone season 5 debuts on the Paramount Network in the United States. There is no release date yet for the UK.
