According to a Redditor, the tie-in books are typically released alongside the new season. Therefore, the updated release date of the book implies that Bridgerton Season 3 might be delayed, much to the disappointment of numerous fans. 

The release date for the Netflix tie-in book has been rescheduled from December 2023 to May 2024. According to one Redditor, it is highly probable that Season 3 will be released in April or May of next year, based on the viral theory.
