The long-awaited new NCIS spin-off has a release date, and it is soon.

NCIS fans can rejoice, please! I apologize for any inconvenience caused, but I wanted to inform you that the show has been facing challenges in production due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes.

As a result, it is unlikely that the show will return before next year. However, I am pleased to share that there will be some new content coming soon.

After being announced over a year ago, Paramount + and CBS have kindly revealed that NCIS: Sydney, the show's first global foray, will finally premiere this November.According to a press release from Paramount, the pilot episode is scheduled to be released on November 10 on Paramount + Australia, and will subsequently have its American premiere on CBS and Paramount+ Global on November 13.

Could you please provide a synopsis for the show in the release? It states that due to increasing international tensions in the Indo-Pacific region, a highly skilled and diverse team of U.S. NCIS agents and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) have been brought together to form a multinational taskforce. Their mission is to effectively address and prevent naval crimes in the highly disputed and challenging ocean area.

Regarding its cast, I would like to mention that Olivia Swann portrays the role of NCIS Special Agent Michelle Mackey, while Todd Lasance takes the lead as Sergeant Jim 'JD' Dempsey.Would you kindly like to know that Sean Sagar will be joining them as NCIS Special Agent DeShawn Jackson, Tuuli Narkle as AFP Liaison Officer Constable Evie Cooper, Mavournee Hazel as AFP Forensic Scientist Bluebird 'Blue' Gleeson, and William McInnes as AFP Forensic Pathologist Dr Roy Penrose?

In a statement to Deadline, Rick Maier, Paramount Australia and New Zealand Head of Drama, expressed his enthusiasm for the cast reveal by saying, "We are thrilled to have one of our best production companies working on one of the most beloved franchises in the world."NCIS: Sydney is incredibly exciting for all of us at Paramount, and we sincerely believe it will be one of the most eagerly anticipated commissions of the year.

Amy Reisenbach, the esteemed president of CBS Entertainment, graciously expressed her excitement about expanding the beloved NCIS franchise with a captivating Australian twist.

We are pleased to announce the exciting addition of NCIS: Sydney to our studio and Network. This expansion further strengthens our presence in this captivating world, which has consistently delighted viewers on both linear and streaming platforms.
