Things Will Change Dramatically for Tariq in Season 3 of "Power Book II: Ghost"

The third season of Power Book II: Ghost is scheduled to premiere on Starz on March 17. Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.), played by Michael Rainey Jr., is a college student who also works as a heroin dealer.

In season 3, he will be drawn even deeper into the world he so desperately wishes to escape.

In fact, season 3 will radically alter Tariq's surroundings.

'Power Book II: Ghost' Season 3 will be more gloomy and grimy.

No series within the Power Universe are humorous. However, viewers should prepare for a darker, grittier third season.

Monet Tejada (Mary J. Blige) is devastated by the death of her son, and Tariq will find himself sliding further into her grasp. Tariq's hopes to reunite with Tasha and Yaz are interrupted by the emergence of a vicious new contact, which forces him, Brayden, and Effie back into business with the Tejadas as they're forced to transport more weight than ever before. Gianni Paolo, who portrays Tariq's best buddy Brayden Weston, stated that his character will also undergo a significant change.

On This Is 50, Paolo said, "Just wait for it." "Brayden is becoming progressively darker and more immersed in the game. I believe that season 3 is Brayden's true coming-out celebration. You're going to see. I'm telling you." In season 3, Tariq's life will begin to change dramatically.

Brayden and Effie (Alix Lapri), the two people Tariq trusts most in the world, second only to his mother, are keeping a dreadful secret from him.

When this secret, about the truth of his ex-girlfriend Lauren's (Paige Hurd) death, is revealed, Tariq's entire foundation will collapse.

"There will be rifts between Tariq and his buddies for a variety of causes," creator of the Power Universe Courtney Kemp told Entertainment Weekly. "Thereafter, these factors will influence the formation of fault lines within the Tejada family.

There will be a series of earthquakes followed by a series of aftershocks that will reshape the series in a profound manner. The third season. Season 5 of "Power Book II: Ghost" will have a significant change.

Though Tariq's circumstances will begin to alter in season 3. Kemp has already cautioned fans to prepare for a significant change if the fifth season is ordered. "I believe I have five or six seasons in mind," Kemp told Deadline.

"The major change that would occur in season 5, the major change that I'm preparing for season 5, would push the show in a path where it could continue indefinitely.

Considering this transition, which is significant, the show might last for ten or more seasons.

But if that is the case, we could definitely move forward and do some great things. But that depends on whether we reach our destination." Fans feel that this significant change will keep Tariq in the drug game permanently.
