A Nigerian man is said to have killed himself three days after his girlfriend got married to someone else.
People say that Daniel killed himself in Obahor, Warri, Delta State. When the news of his death spread on social media, it got a lot of attention quickly.
The person who died is said to have taken sniper, a poisonous substance, after finding out that the woman he loved had been lying to him.
A person on Twitter wrote, "Nawa for youoo bros, this is your death. They're supposed to wipe you off and put you in the grave."
In other news, a self-described Nigerian football coach named Emmanuel Igwebuike was found guilty of molesting seven young boys and sentenced to 15 years in prison in the UK.
The 35-year-old also got an order to stay away from sexual harm for life, and he will always be on the S3x Offenders Register. Reports from the UK say that he was punished by the Inner London Crown Court in April after a five-week trial found him guilty of 22 counts of sexual assault.
Between June 2019 and April 2021, when the crimes were done, his victims ranged in age from 14 to 18. Reports say that the sexual assaults happened at his old homes in Lambeth and Putney, as well as at a hotel in Birmingham.
