After losing the award last year, afrobeat musician KiDi has been named the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year.
Last year, KiDi had his eye on the most coveted award, but it went to Gospel performer Diana Hamilton in the end.
On the night of Ghana's biggest music event of the year, the Lynx Entertainment contracted musician received five accolades.
Best Reggae/Dancehall Song, Album/EP of the Year, Afrobeats/Afropop Artist, Vodafone Most Popular Song, and Artist of the Year were among the awards he received.
He now holds the title of Artiste of the Year, beating out Black Sherif, Sarkodie, Joe Mettle, Kuami Eugene, and King Promise.
