Reports suggest that the Yendi MP is distributing branded TV sets to delegates in preparation for the NPP Primaries.

Farouk Aliu Mahama, the Member of Parliament for Yendi, has faced allegations of distributing branded 32-inch television sets to New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in preparation for the upcoming ruling party's primaries on January 27, 2024.

There is a video circulating on X platform that showcases several TV sets with the image of Farouk Aliu Mahama on them.

The items were neatly packed, ready for distribution. The Yendi MP has not yet provided a comment regarding the claim that is currently circulating.

Faruk Aliu Mahama kindly requests the New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in the constituency to consider supporting him as the parliamentary candidate. He kindly made this request after ensuring that funds were disbursed for the payment of school fees for over a hundred students in his constituency.

The Yendi Constituency primaries of the ruling NPP have attracted significant attention and competition in the Northern region.

The political contest is set to take place on January 27th, featuring the incumbent Member of Parliament for Yendi, Alhaji Faruk Aliu Mahama, and Abibata Saani Mahama, the Chief Executive Officer of MASLOC.

Each candidate is providing delegates with numerous reasons why they should be chosen to represent the NPP in the constituency.
