Chandra Wilson has expressed her commitment to remain on the show until its conclusion, regardless of the duration.

I used to express my commitment by saying, 'I will be there until the wheels fall off until the very, very end, and it is unlikely that this situation can endure much longer, correct?'

And then, if I may kindly add, we continue," Wilson graciously shared with PEOPLE exclusively at a Grey's Anatomy PaleyFest event in April 2023. Currently, I am committed to being present until the final episode, the last day, and the concluding scene. She kindly added, I mentioned it, so now I must make my way there.

May I ask who will be departing from the cast of Grey's Anatomy in season 20?Regarding the individuals departing from the show, it appears that both of Ellis Grey's daughters will not be returning as series regulars in season 20 of Grey's Anatomy.

Furthermore, it has been announced that Ellen Pompeo will be taking a step back from her longstanding role as Meredith Grey. Additionally, Kelly McCreary, who portrays Maggie Pierce, Meredith's on-screen half-sister and a series regular since season 11, will also be departing from the show. After nine seasons, I would like to bid farewell to Maggie Pierce and her Grey Sloan family.

She expressed her immense gratitude for the opportunity to be involved in the esteemed television series, Grey's Anatomy. I am deeply grateful to Shonda Rhimes, Krista Vernoff, and ABC for the wonderful opportunity, and I would also like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the incredible fans for their unwavering support.

I am genuinely looking forward to this next chapter and the opportunities that the future may bring.Could you please provide an update on how Grey's Anatomy season 19 concluded?

I would like to kindly mention that although details regarding the plot of season 20 have not been disclosed yet, there were several significant moments and cliffhangers towards the conclusion of season 19 that fans are eagerly anticipating to see resolved.

The fate of Teddy Altman and her patient is currently uncertain following her sudden collapse. She mentioned experiencing a toothache during the finale, but she persevered despite the discomfort due to the shortage of staff at the hospital.

Teddy unfortunately experienced a collapse on the operating room floor while getting ready to perform a surgery on Sam Sutton (Sam Page). Despite the efforts of her husband, Owen Hunt, Teddy did not respond to the defibrillation shock.

As the situation became chaotic with Teddy, unfortunately, Sam experienced cardiac arrest and began to bleed out on the table.

Fans were also left with a cliffhanger when Jo and Link (Chris Carmack) shared a kiss. Despite initially denying his feelings for her and attributing his frustration to the doctor-patient relationship between her and Sam Sutton, he eventually mustered the courage to acknowledge his true emotions. He kindly expressed, "I love you, and I intend to love you indefinitely."

You are quite mistaken, my friend. "I love you too," she kindly responded, before they shared a kiss in the rain.

Meredith and Nick Marsh (Scott Speedman) also had a moment together. She acknowledged that she chose to ignore his declaration of love before her departure to Boston, explaining, "I was feeling exhausted, frightened, and overwhelmed." And I apologise if this sounds silly, but I believed it was best to prioritise the children in that situation, so that's what I chose to do... but I genuinely miss you.

He had mistakenly assumed that Michael, Zola's tutor, was her boyfriend and expressed, "I regretfully spent a significant amount of time attempting to avoid pain.

I visited your house to convey that I should not have allowed you to leave without expressing my desire to experience a complete life filled with love, challenges, and growth alongside you."Before they shared a kiss, she politely responded, "Well, if you don't mind, then I suppose it's alright."

Some other remarkable moments from the two-part season 19 finale include the well-deserved recognition of Miranda Bailey, who received the Catherine Fox Award for her exceptional contributions in reproductive care. Additionally, there was an unexpected development where the estranged couple, Maggie and Winston Ndugu (portrayed by Anthony Hill), had a romantic encounter.

Could you please let me know when Grey's Anatomy season 20 was filmed?I apologise for any inconvenience, but due to the ongoing writers strike and actors strike, we currently do not have a confirmed start date for the production of season 20.
