Miss Beadle, played by Charlotte Stewart, served as Walnut Grove's schoolteacher for the first four seasons of Little House on the Prairie.

Little House in the Hollywood Hills, Stewart's autobiography, was released in 2016. According to an interview with Fox News, the book details her sober struggle as well as tales of her friendship with Doors frontman Jim Morrison. She attributed Alison Arngrim, who played Nellie Oleson in the television series Little House, with inspiring her to create the book in the interview.
