Yellowstone season 5 :Jamie and Beth team up when a star drops the clue "Work together."

In the upcoming season of the wildly popular Western drama, YELLOWSTONE'S cutthroat banker Beth Dutton might have to put her troubled adoptive brother Jamie behind bars in order to keep the family safe.

Yellowstone's fifth season is just a few months away, and viewers are still speculating about Beth Dutton's (Kelly Reilly) future now that she has adopted brother Jamie (Wes Bentley) completely under her control. The actress has hinted at a drastically different dynamic when the Duttons return, despite the fact that their conflict is still going strong at the end of the Paramount Network drama's most recent season.

When the Duttons' next conflict starts in Yellowstone season five, Beth and Jamie might decide to call a reluctant truce.

Beth persuaded her brother that Garrett Randall (Will Patton), Jamie's biological father, ought to be killed after learning he was responsible for the horrific attack on her family.

When Jamie finally had the will to carry out the crime himself, Beth abruptly revealed that she had recorded the entire event.

When the neo-Western series makes its dramatic return to screens, Jamie will be entirely under Beth's control since she has video evidence that proves he killed a guy in cold blood.

The siblings' relationship may be in a very different position than what viewers might anticipate in Yellowstone's fifth season, according to major cast member Kelly.

She said, "[Beth and John] are using Jamie to push things through that they wouldn't be able to achieve. There's a touch of the early dynamic coming back into the show, of them needing to work together.

He must work for the family, they need him. It's like being employed by the mob.

Since learning that her brother caused her infertility when they were teenagers, Beth has harbored resentment toward him.

Younger Beth got pregnant, and Jamie took her to a reservation for an abortion without telling her sister that the conventional technique would prevent her from having any more kids.

Jamie has always been a steadfast member of the Dutton family, despite Beth's disdain for him, until season three, when he learned that his adoption had been kept a secret from him.

Although his momentary partnership with Garrett only served to inflame Beth's fury, his utility to the family appears to be enough to keep him alive for the time being.

The family will need to work together to safeguard their land and way of life as they prepare for a conflict with Caroline Warner (Jacki Weaver) and Market Equities.

In the upcoming season of Yellowstone, their father John Dutton (Kevin Costner) will also be in a contentious battle to become governor of Montana.

In order to ensure that the Duttons maintain their hold on the divided state, Beth could have to unwillingly agree to employ Jamie's legal expertise if John's attempt to gain more political clout is successful.

In addition, Beth's plan to lock up John's liberal new lover Summer Higgins (Piper Perabo) must be undone if his connection with his daughter is to continue.

If Beth wants to keep her father pleased, she might need Jamie's help to reduce her punishment or, ideally, keep her out of jail entirely.

Beth is entering this feeling very happy about everything, Kelly revealed to TV Insider. She has faith that things will be handled more effectively.

Whatever the case, Yellowstone season five will feature even more surprises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats as they enjoy an extended, 14-episode instalment over the course of the following year.

The fifth season of Yellowstone will debut on the Paramount Network in the United States on Sunday, November 13. The first three seasons are streamable on Paramount+.
