When dropping kids off at school, Kim Kardashian reveals how she finds time to "recharge."

 As a busy mother of four, Kim Kardashian reveals her trick for finding "me time." 

The 41-year-old opens up to PEOPLE on how she makes time for herself in this week's issue, revealing that she utilizes that time to "recharge" after dropping her kids off at school. 

According to Kardashian, who is the mother of daughters North, 9, and Chicago, 4, as well as sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 3, and ex-boyfriend Kanye West's children, listening to the music she wants to listen to while driving home is helpful for her mental [health]. 

She explains, "I recharge when I get a minute alone without making phone calls. "I work out before dropping the kids off. My workout goes from 6 to 7 a.m., and the kids get up at 7:05." 

It's still "very rare" for Kardashian to lock the door to her room and declare, "I need 20 minutes," despite the fact that her new skincare line, SKKN, is currently available. 

The Kardashians star continues, "Someone constantly needs me. "They will lay on my bed if I am receiving a massage. My massage therapist has such sympathy for me. She sent me this lovely card for Mother's Day that stated, "They're always attempting to jump on the table, and someone's always wanting cuddles." Such a fact. No one can give me a relaxing massage." 

But there is also beauty in the turmoil, she adds. "I enjoy my alone time in the morning before everyone gets up because of this. Even if it's with a trainer or something, I can go outside and exercise while taking a break and having an hour to myself. I continue to feel isolated." 

Since filing for divorce in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage, Kardashian and ex-husband West, 45, have continued to co-parent. In March, she was declared to be legally single. Since October 2021, she has been dating Pete Davidson.
