Kim Kardashian and her children are said to have made a sweet gesture in honor of Kanye West's birthday.

When it comes to her ex-husband Kanye West's forthcoming birthday, Kim Kardashian is reportedly prioritizing peaceful co-parenting.

Kardashian is reportedly assisting their four children — North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3 — in selecting the ideal gifts for their father, according to a source close to the family.

"She's been taking the kids shopping for their father's birthday present," the insider revealed. "She wanted to make sure that each of the kids bought a gift for their father because she still cares about Kanye, and that is what mothers do."

Another insider claimed that West wants to spend his birthday with his kids, and Kardashian is "okay for it." "Kanye will always be family," the source added, adding that she wishes they were in a position where she could throw him a nice birthday party because she knows how much their kids would enjoy it. "Unfortunately, they aren't quite there yet in terms of their co-parenting relationship, but Kim hopes that one day they will."

The former couple had a tumultuous relationship, with West frequently airing his frustrations about Kardashian on social media and in his music. Kardashian, for one, has been cautious when discussing her ex-husband and frequently highlights their children's well-being. "I always want my kids to witness the finest of the best," Kardashian said in a March interview with Ellen DeGeneres. "I simply try to ignore it and do whatever is best for the kids, as difficult as that can be at times." Take the high path," says the author.

The founder of SKIMS also shared her own personal mantra for navigating life and all of its many complexities.

"I simply live my life the way I think is right and feel is right in my soul and just go on and do the best that I can," she explained. "Just try to learn from your mistakes, move on, and be a nice person."
