Over 200,000 people will vote tomorrow to choose the NPP flagbearer.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP), which is in power, is working hard to get ready for the election on November 4, 2023, which will choose a candidate for the 2024 general election.

This important poll will be taken by more than 200,000 party members. The party says it is part of the process of finding a good candidate to help it break the eight-year election cycle jinx.

Four people are now running to replace President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. This is after the party narrowed down the list of 10 possible flagbearers at its August Super Delegates Conference.

Some of the candidates who were on the list at first have decided not to run.Eight people are still running for office: Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, MP for Assin Central, Dr. Owusu Akoto Afriyie, former Agriculture Minister, and Francis Addai-Nimoh, former MP for Mampong.

Several pollsters think Dr. Bawumia will win, but they also think Kennedy Agyapong will be very strong in the race.

The contestants had to sign a promise that they would not quit the party if any of them lost.

Every area in all 16 regions of the country will hold an election to choose a flagbearer who will run for the party in the 2024 general elections.

When people cast their votes, Kennedy Agyapong will be at the top and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will be in second place.

The third and fourth spots will go to Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto and Francis Addai Nimo, who used to be an MP for Mampong.
