Power Book II: Everything You Need to Know About the Fourth Season of Ghost

Power Book II: Everything You Need to Know About the Fourth Season of Ghost

Power Book II: Ghost is aware that things are going well because the fourth season of the Starz program was already ordered before the third season had even begun.

Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) will appear in yet another episode with all the twists and turns we've come to expect from the crime drama series as he tries to escape his father's shadow. To us, it sounds terrific.

Here is what we know about the precise date that Ghost will return to our screens now that we know there will be more of Tariq and company to come. When will Power Book II: Ghost season 4 premiere?

As we previously stated, we already know that season four has been renewed, but we are unsure of when it will be announced.

Despite Rainey Jr's earlier assurances that fans wouldn't have to wait as long as the last 16-month break, the ongoing Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike has now hampered production and will probably push back the release of season four.

Ghost was reportedly attempting to film its fourth season in May, but due to the strike, filming was put on hold indefinitely. The actors' strike is probably going to slow down production and put off the release of the new episodes.

Keep this page bookmarked because we'll update it when the release date is confirmed.

In more positive news, Rainey Jr. told the Daily Express that he wanted to give the show and his character "50 years" to continue. But really, I think we still have a lot of time. We're going to remain here for a while.Cast of Power Book II: Ghost's fourth season: Who is there?

We also learned some interesting casting news along with the renewal: Detective Don Carter has been cast as Michael Ealy, a familiar face to TV viewers from the ironic Netflix series The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window.

A rising NYPD officer who was expected to become police commissioner before his wife was slain in the crossfire between competing drug gangs is believed to have been the new kid on the block.

"Vowing to make the streets safer, Carter traded in his tie for a kevlar vest and now leads an elite NYPD drug task force that elicits concrete results against drug-related violence," says a description of the new detective.

Nothing can replace his departed love, despite the public praise of his efforts.Naturally, we may anticipate Rainey Jr. to reprise his role as Tariq in addition to the new detective.

But sadly, Lorenzo Tejada Sr. (Berto Colon) won't be returning for season four because Monet (Mary J. Blige) placed a reward on his head, which led to his demise.

It is predicted that the following core cast members will return:

Lovell Adams-Gray portrays Dru Tajada, Woody McClain portrays Cane Tejada, LaToya Tondeo portrays Diana Tejada, Gianni Paolo portrays Brayden Weston, Cliff 'Method Man' Smith portrays David Maclean, Shane Johnson plays Cooper Saxe, and Redman plays Theo Rollins.

Because Ghost may go deeply into the Power universe, we should always expect the unexpected during the show.

At the end of season three, we saw Joseph Sikora's homicidal character Tommy Egan make an appearance on the program.

In the sixth and concluding season of Power, Tommy returned to get revenge on Tariq's mother Tasha for killing Tommy's fiancée.
