Vanessa Lachey Teases 'NCIS' Three-Show Crossover and Theories on Character Connections

The star of NCIS: Hawaii moved from the tropical island to Los Angeles so she could take part in the big crossover event between NCIS, NCIS: Hawaii, and NCIS: LA. On Wednesday, Lachey was the only one on the set of NCIS when she went to work on the long-awaited crossover.

"Today is the first day that all three NCIS shows come together in the first episode," the actress teased. "NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii will come first, then NCIS: LA... We were all in the same room, and everyone was asking, "Does my character know your character? When did you two first meet? When did you guys meet?' So we all have to figure it out on our own."

Lachey said that she can't wait for people who watch the NCIS series to "start coming up with their own theories about our backstories."

She spends most of her time in Hawaii, where she and her castmates are in charge. She loves the new energy that comes from having all the different characters in the same room.

"I always find it funny to see how serious we all act on procedural TV shows, even though we're all just regular moms, dads, and people. So I really enjoy being able to hang out with them, talk about life, and eat snacks "she told. "I mean, we do work, don't get me wrong. I act like we're just sitting around all day, but it's been fun to see what everyone else is like when they're not in front of the camera."

Nick Lachey, who is married to Vanessa Lachey, stayed behind in Hawaii. On Wednesday, he was a guest co-host on ET's show at the Sheraton Waikiki with Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner. The Love Is Blind co-host gave his thoughts on where the season 3 couples are in their relationships and answered Lauren Speed's claim that the show doesn't include Black women.
