Fans of the tv series "Yellowstone" want to know why Kevin Costner wasn't mentioned in the latest annoucement.

Fans of Yellowstone should get ready to help the Dutton family defend the ranch, but on a board game.

As the season 5 premiere of Yellowstone gets closer and Paramount Network finishes up the new episodes, the show is getting its own Monopoly game that the whole family can enjoy. For a Yellowstone theme, players can buy, sell, and trade famous places, like the house of Kayce (Luke Grimes) and Monica (Kelsey Asbille) and the casino and hotel at the Painted Horse.

But before the game's official release on October 10, Yellowstone fans noticed right away that John Dutton himself, aka Kevin Costner, wasn't in it. The art also shows Beth (Kelly Reilly), Jamie (Wes Bentley), and Rip (Cole Hauser), in addition to Kayce and Monica. Still, there's no sign of Kevin's character, and when Yellowstone posted about the new game on Instagram, people had something to say about that.

"Where's Kevin Costner? Without seeing him, I won't buy it. One person wrote in the show's Instagram comments, "He's the whole show." "I really like the idea, but can you tell me why Costner isn't on the board, more or less in the middle?" Blasphemy," said a second person. "I would have already bought one "What are they thinking?" asked another fan.

Still, some people thought that the Dutton patriarch might have been there in a sneaky way. A follower said, "I think that's him on the horse in the silhouette up top." Someone else said, "I'm sorry, but he needed to be front and center with everyone else next to him or behind him, not just a silhouette."

Still, most Yellowstone fans were just happy to have their own game to play during season 5 and the holidays. A fan joked, "My Christmas Wish List Just Got a Little Bigger!!!" "That's so cool!" said someone else. "I love this and can't wait for the show to start up again," someone said in response.

If you want to know how to get your own, you can now pre-order them on the official Yellowstone site. The product description says that the first group of orders will ship on October 10 and the second will ship on November 15.
