Kissi Agyebeng, the Special Prosecutor, has been warned by Col. Kwadwo Damoah (RTD), Commissioner of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
He asserts that the OSP's efforts to discredit him through allegations of corruption in the course of his duties will fail.
Col. Damoah stated to some senior customs officials during a retreat in Kumasi that the accusations leveled against him and other senior officers are a planned smear campaign.
He claims that the accusations are being made by a small number of disgruntled customs officers who are jealous of his position of authority in the business.
He went on to stress that as long as he was in charge, he would ensure that his staff were protected from any intimidation.
Col. Kwadwo Damoah claims that the Special Prosecutor is following him because he stopped Mr. Akurugu from succeeding Kissi Agyebeng as Kissi Agyebeng's deputy.
A report that claimed to be from the Office of the Special Prosecutor three days ago attempted to indict the Deputy Commissioner of Operations and myself, but everybody who has read that report is well aware of the report's foundation.

God is always on my side, which is a blessing for me. Before that report was released, that individual had made a remark to a few individuals who had come to inform me that the Special Prosecutor would publish something to defame me. and I told them to go inform him that I was older than him because he was a little boy.
It won't be simple for him to ruin me because I've lived a meaningful life. People have attempted to kill me, but I have lived; I will also survive this one, " he raged.
